Privacy and confidentiality are the utmost importance to our client relationship. Our work together is entirely confidential and your personal or business information will not be released to anyone. Things that are seen in your home or office are also confidential.

We are respectful and empathetic when working with our clients. We constantly strive to remain an objective and non-judgmental advisor.

 

Professionalism

 

We will arrive on time. We will let you know in advance if supplies need to be purchased prior to a session.

 

Your budget and timeline are as important to us as they are to you.   We efficiently implement our ideas with careful budget oversight and provide a guaranteed completion date for each project. 

 

Expectations for Clients

 

Clients will prepare for each session by minimizing potential interruptions of the telephone, children, pets or visitors.

 

Clients will not be expected to purchase any particular items. Only after evaluating what is already available to you will recommendations be made.  

Turquoise Décor LLC will not “make you throw away your stuff”. We will make suggestions and recommendations - but the ultimate decisions about your belongings will be yours

Irit Shechtman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Sciences degree from New York Polytechnic. She is a multi-lingual design and style professional who has worked internationally in Europe and the Middle East.  Her well-traveled background imbues her work with an uncommon depth and insight - she has that particular brand of good taste that comes with being raised on a strict diet of the Bolshoi ballet and Parisien fashion. In addition to being a talented designer and an experienced computer and graphics expert, Irit is also a classically-trained singer. When she is not working her magic on a room, Irit enjoys reading, traveling with her husband and two children, attending the ballet, and live jazz performances.

Nicole Wexler is an interior decorator, home stager, and public speaker.  Nicole left her prior legal career in 2003 to pursue her creative side and her first love, interior design.  A graduate of the Interior Design Institute in New York, as well as an accredited Home Staging Specialist, she is also an active member of the Real Estate Staging Association. Now a successful entrepreneur, Nicole has been honored by receiving a nomination for the Eastside Women in Business “O” Award. Nicole’s path to décor began at an early age when she worked in her mother’s catering business and discovered how much she enjoyed creating the décor and floral arrangements for special occasions and events. After moving into her first apartment, Nicole and a friend did a one-day cosmetic make-over of the apartment’s uninteresting white bathroom based on a magazine photograph. The results were amazing and Nicole’s passion for interiors was born. Since then, she has altered many rooms and many lives. Nicole has lived in Namibia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Israel and the United States and is fluent in three languages. She is the author of the widely-read Turquoise Décor Ezine and blog, both packed with fun decorating tips, news about hot new products and informative articles.
